Over the past nine years I have had a lot of experience developing UI and have seen the art form grow and mature. The UI elements and layouts I have worked on have  been varied and numerous, especially when developing mini games and video on demand systems. I have made my fair share of mistakes too, a great UI is not as simple as it seems.
